COMETO Rotating Die Box

The COMETO rotating die box essentially comes in two different versions. The PFR43 is specifically designed for dry drawing machines.

Offering high performance and ease of use, it ensures optimal lubrication of the wire during its passage through the die. At the same time it preserves the round shape of the die, reducing the risk of deformation.

It is available with or without a cassette to contain the stearate or with the option of using liquid lubricant. Quick die changes are possible with just a few turns of the die holder. Easy checking of the cooling water. Long seal life thanks to open tank and low pressure.

Available in two versions:

• PFR43V2 High speed 53rpm
• PFR43L2 Low speed 7rpm

The second version of the COMETO die box is the type CFRMD, designed for use on wire drawing machines to extend the quality and life of drawing dies.

The rotary movement of the die ensures optimal lubrication of the die as the wire passes through and so preserves the round shape and finish. Available for dry drawing with or without a stearate cassette or for liquid lubricant and with the option of direct cooling to the die or indirect cooling keeping the die dry.

The CFRMD comes in four sizes for die diameters 38-100mm:

• CFRMD431 dies up to 43mm
• CFRMD551 dies up to 55mm
• CFRMD701 dies up to 70mm
• CFRMD100 dies up to 100mm

Options include systems for pressure dies and quick change die configurations to improve operational performance.
