Spirka Schnellflechter embodies more than 100 years of experience and innovation in braiding technology and has its origins in Schnellflechter Berlin GmbH, whose roots go back to the Guido Horn company founded in 1908 and Spirka Maschinenbau GmbH, founded in 1951 in Alfeld/Leine.

In addition to high speed lever arm braiding machines, SSB also manufacture spiraling and winding machines as well as wire payoffs for a wide range of applications. Customers include large international companies and medium-sized companies in the cable industry, medical technology and hose manufacturing. Braiding machines are available in vertical or horizontal configurations.
