COMETO Straightening Rollers

COMETO manufacture an extensive range of extremely high quality and robust straightening roller sets covering all applications of wire and tube from the smallest 0.03mm diameter wire to the largest 40mm diameter tube.

COMETO type ASM / ADM straighteners

Designed for use on machines for the production of springs, screws and wire bending where input accuracy is critical. ASM single plane and ADM double plane roll sets come in 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 roller versions covering wire diameters from 0.3mm up to 16mm. Eccentric quick release feature drastically reduces material change times. Both banks of rollers are adjustable.

COMETO ASF straighteners

ASF wire straighteners are specifically designed for use on coilers or galvanising lines or for all types of processing lines where there is no need for frequent roller opening. Covering a wire range from 0.3mm up to 15mm diameter. Available as a single plane version ASF-1 or double plane version ASF-2.

COMETO AS / AD straighteners

The AS single or AD double wire straightening rollers are recommended for use on wire drawing lines before winding. Covering a range of 0.1mm up to 14mm diameter and with 5, 7, 9, 11 or 13 rollers. Operated by a quick release eccentric cam and rollers adjustable from one side. Digital position indicators are also available for repeatability of set up.

COMETO D straighteners

The COMETO D straightener is a compact and versatile unit ideal for wire mesh making machines or where space is limited. Versions cover wire diameters from 0.8mm up to 14mm with 5 or 7 rollers. Ease of use is ensured by the scissor action of opening the roll set.

COMETO AR wire straightener

COMETO AR wire straighteners are suitable for guiding and eliminating wire vibrations, particularly where dimension measurements need to be taken in the production line.

 

COMETO ADV straighteners

COMETO ADV wire straighteners are specifically designed for processing CO2 wire for optimising the rewinding process onto spools. Speeds of up to 40 meters per second and options of 23mm or 30mm roller diameters in double configuration of 9+9 rollers. Can be supplied with or without a pneumatic cylinder.

COMETO ADM905 straighteners

COMETO ADM905 micro-wire straightening rollers are available in a 9+9 roller format with roller diameters of 5mm for straightening wires from 0.03mm to 0.3mm diameter. Adjustment of the 9 rollers is made via 2 micrometers with a 0.01mm scale.

COMETO ESM110 straighteners

COMETO ESM110 straighteners are extremely robust wire straighteners for weakening, straightening or lengthening ribbed wire for the construction industry. Supplied with 110mm diameter rollers and capable of processing wire from 6mm to 20mm diameter. Rollers are supplied with inserts to 61-63 HRC hardness or with tungsten inserts as an option. Available as a 5, 7 or 9 roller set up with digital positioning indicators if required.

COMETO RF straighteners

COMETO RF straighteners are available as single units or with a special bracket to link them together. Produced in five different sizes from 65mm to 180mm diameter rollers with 3, 5, 7 & 9 rollers and capable of handling wire or tube from 5.2mm to 38mm diameter. Options include digital positioning indicators and pneumatic adjusters.

COMETO S150 straighteners

The COMETO S150 straightener is designed to ensure high precision processing of solid round wires of 16mm to 30mm diameter, cables and tubes of up to 45mm diameter. Supplied with 5 rollers in a single or double configuration. Available with manual, servo assisted or hydraulic adjustment. Also available with plastic inserts in the rollers to protect the surface of tubes or plastic covered cables.
