WARDWELL Speedmaster Braiding Machine
The Wardwell Speedmaster range of braiding machines has been developed to answer the need for a high speed braider dedicated to shielding wire and cable products.
With its vertical axis operation and available in 16, 24 and large bobbin configurations, the Speedmaster comes with pay-off and take-up for up to 36"" reels, full guarding, broken end detectors and a tubular steel frame.
The 16 carrier version can achieve 150rpm on wire and the 24 carrier version 100rpm. Braid patterns of 2 over 2 or 1 over 1 are possible, inverter motor for controlled acceleration and deceleration, adjustable reel traverse mechanism and digital production counter.
